You also need a basic knowledge of whom is using each networking platform. For example, you’ll want to use a more professional tone on LinkedIn, while you can be more relaxed (but not too relaxed) on Facebook.
If you approach social media marketing from a selling perspective, you will repel people. Because, while people love to buy things, they don’t want to feel like they’re being pushed into buying from you.
While social media is “organic”, meaning you don’t pay for it like you do when you purchase advertising, it does cost you in time, energy, and commitment.
If you’re going to do social media marketing correctly, you must set up a schedule to do it consistently! This is absolutely key to your success!
