Michelle Stephens ProWebCopy
Early in life, I prolifically wrote stories. My dad build 3’x5′ blackboards in the hallway and I spent hours writing stories about our day-to-day life. I loved hiding in my room, waiting for someone to read and laugh about what I’d written. Add to the mix the fact that I’m a bookworm.
This life long love of words and books prepared me for a career as a copywriter and online marketer. In 2009, I was looking for an opportunity to help support our family since the recession had turned the building industry upside down causing my husband’s business to dramatically slow down. I apprenticed under a wonderful copywriter, Jennifer Odear and am still working as her virtual assistant.
Since SEO practices are constantly changing, I continually research the best practices for Search Engine Optimization (SEO copywriting), online marketing via social media, emails, ezines and newsletters, and WordPress website IT stuff. I specialize in helping business owners create relationships with people who need their services. Throw in a bit of graphic design and ProWebCopy was born to help entrepreneurs market their businesses.
Completed copywriting courses:
Step by Step Copywriting Course by Karon Thackston
She Factor Copywriting Bootcamp by Lorrie Morgan Ferrero
In November 2017 I completed the Digital Marketer’s Search Marketing Course and received my certification…

I had a website I was very unhappy with. Thanks to Michelle I now have a website I can send clients to and get results.” ~ Mike Loob – Owner, Data Intensive Software
“Michelle was referred to me by my business coach when I started my online business, BookkeepingTotallyOrganised. She patiently guided me through the online marketing processes I needed to get started, like setting up my autoresponder for emails and newsletters, and using social media for marketing my business.
She helped me build a social media profile that makes me visible so my target market can find me. Then we set up Hootsuite to manage my social media marketing campaigns. Where once I was lacking confidence, I can now confidently interact with my people online.
I love the processes she created for helping organise the creation and posting of my emails, blogs, ezines and social media. I can give her my ideas and she works her magic as she perfectly captures what I want to say in my voice. I love the clearly structured way that all of the important marketing aspects, like search engine optimization are added to it, too.
As a busy mum working from my home-based bookkeeping business, things get hectic. I appreciate how Michelle keeps me on track with my online marketing. When I’m extra busy or distracted, she keeps the momentum going until I catch up.
Even though I live in Australia and she lives in the United States, we’ve worked out a system that works well. I’m a great believer in the fact that business owners cannot do everything on their own if they want to grow and build their business. They really should be utilising the professionals out there that have way more experience. That’s why I would highly recommend Michelle Stephens of ProWebCopy for helping you market your business online.” ~ Kristi Cairns – Owner, BookkeepingTotallyOrganised
